Great fine dining experience. I ordered a chicken and prawn shumai dumplings, fully loaded urana ki sushi roll, egg drop chicken hot & sour soup and Kaya toast with coffee icecream. Excellent service by Mr.Ranjit. Will visit soon with family to try their nigiri, ramen and their famous nama chocolate and of course drink saké. Thursday night 10PM is salsa dance night.

Trying Japanese food is always a delight but was a tad difficult to find closer to my residence that was until I found out about Saké. Situated in Assagao (The Beverly Hills of Goa) is a luxurious restaurant with hotel rooms as well. The ambiance is gorgeous; well lit with the perfect amount of dimness. Spacious seating for a night out with friends or date, as well as private booths if you’re going with family or even deciding to have a business dinner (outdoor seating available post monsoons). The staff is amiable and know the menu, hence you can rely on their recommendations (the bar and food menu have a variety to choose from). Talking about the food, one word - “nailed it” (or maybe two) but seriously it isn’t just mouth watering to look at but even is to eat and relish! You’ll be craving for more as well. And if you’re a ramen lover like me then you’ll be more than happy with the portions and the taste, pricing for the same is decent too. On an average approximate price per person will be around ₹1000-1500/- Recommended dishes - 1. Shrimp tempura roll (sushi). 2. Chicken and coriander dumplings & steamed chicken wrapped in bok choy leaves with black pepper sauce dumplings. 3. King pao broccoli. 4. Stir-fry tenderloin in black pepper sauce. 5. Classic veg Hakka noodles and spicy udon noodles in black bean and veggies. 6. Chicken tantanmein style ramen. And for dessert sticky date cake with whisky toffee sauce + vanilla ice cream or blueberry cheese cake.
